About the Climate Accelerator Program

Our ground-breaking accelerator program combines 90 days of intense workshops, network & learning sessions with €150,000-€500,000 investments. Founders join us from all over the world, and we invest in climate startups working within food, transport, energy, natural assets, infrastructure and new frontiers. Our program is designed to guide founders through complex entrepreneurial issues, add structure, and help you raise your next round.

    Application

    Are you a for profit startup with a positive impact on the climate looking for funding? Our Climate Accelerator Program is now open for applications. The program is designed for climate startups working in the fields of food, transport, energy, natural assets, infrastructure and new frontiers.

  • Screening

    Our investment decision process includes several interviews where you will get to present yourself and your company, and get to know our team. Interviews will contribute to our insight and assessment to team quality, impact potential, your product, business model, scalability & accelerator fit.

  • Due Diligence

    Due diligence means understanding your organisation’s current situation and what is required in order to reach both business and technological milestones. The global potential of your company is also assessed.

    We additionally conduct a deep dive impact screening to assess the overall impact of your operations and how aligned and integrated it is with the company strategy.

  • Investment

    We invest in all the companies that take part in our accelerator programme. The ticket size vary from USD 150 000 – 500 000, which we invest in your company in return for equity. We charge a program fee which cover the costs of running the accelerator and can be deducted from our investment.

  • Acclerator

    In addition to investment into your company, you will take part in an intense accelerator programme tailored to ocean startups.

    During the programme you will get hands-on mentorship from top global subject matter experts, serial entrepreneurs, business leaders and investors as well as access to pilot customers, test environments and real data.

  • Investor Day

    The programme runs for 3 months and ends with an exclusive event for active and ocean relevant investors, where where you will get the opportunity to pitch to impact investors from all over the world.

  • Scale Investment

    Katapult has raised a follow-on fund to increase our post-program capabilities and support our best performers. We can make investments in companies together with another lead investor, in Series A or similar sized rounds. Currently the fund has invested in three Katapult portfolio companies.
