Kate Byrne joins Katapult
We are happy to announce that Kate Byrne har joined our team to build the next generation of Katapult connection: Katapult X, by the Katapult Foundation. The time is now for the Katapult community, including Katapult Future Fest, to spread beyond our physical and online presence and become a true global campfire of connection and conduit to all forms of capital.
“I first learned about Katapult 5 years ago after meeting a group of people coming from the Katapult Future Fest conference in Oslo. I could feel the creativity and warm-hearted vibe from people who just experienced something transformational. The team and I want to develop and support the system that combines this spirit of true collaboration with an action-oriented network, so that people are using their capacities to invest, build, and create.”
Kate most recently was the President for SOCAP, and has media chops formed by holding executive positions at BusinessWeek, Inc, Fast Company and has years of experience in branding, communications, using technology for good and impact investing. Kate is a fourth generation Californian and brings a lovely mix of a growth mindset and sunny California vibe. In other words, we are stoked to have her with us leading this journey.
