Katapult Ocean, Earthshot Prize, Official Nominator
The Earthshot Prize 2024 nomination process is underway, and Katapult Ocean is honored to be an Official Nominator. The Earthshot Prize is a leading global environmental initiative, focused on advancing that will repair our planet this decade.
As an Official Nominator, Katapult Ocean joins a select global network recognized for pinpointing high-impact environmental solutions. We’ll be nominating entities making significant progress towards the five Earthshots:
- Protect and Restore Nature
- Clean our Air
- Revive our Oceans
- Build a Waste-Free World
- Fix our Climate
Nominated solutions should demonstrate tangible progress in one of these areas, be beyond the conceptual stage, and be ready for wider implementation within the next five years. For detailed criteria, consult the 2023 Earthshot Roadmap.

After the nomination phase, a rigorous evaluation will determine five winners, selected by Prince William and the Earthshot Prize Council. Each winner will receive one million pounds, and all 15 finalists will benefit from a year in The Earthshot Fellowship Programme. This provides them with a platform and support from The Earthshot Prize network, including NGOs, businesses, and experts.
