This event is a chance for investors to meet Katapult’s 7 new portfolio companies. Africa’s food ecosystem currently accounts for ±15% of the African continent’s GDP and involves more than 700 Million people. But the sector still greatly suffers from unstructured markets and inefficient value chains. With this cohort, we are addressing a young population of farmers prone to adopt innovative solutions, high penetration of mobile banking, and an increasingly global supply of talents.
Each company will be graduating from our three-month accelerator program focused on strategy, growth and impact. From here, they are ready to take the next steps of scaling their business and preparing for their next funding rounds.
All portfolio companies will make a presentation and you as an investor will get the opportunity to speak to individual companies via the platform Airmeet. This will provide you the chance to meet the startups and their founders one-to-one and get to know them on a personal level.
